It was hips, hips, hips this morning.
A hip-opening class is a popular choice for most yoga teachers. Why? Because everyone needs to work on hip flexibility. It's universal. The ball and socket joint of the hip has a potential to have almost 360 degree flexibility. Most of us reach nowhere near that. Taking the time to release tension in the hips also benefits the low back, another popular hot spot in the body.
